Facebook to open 2 new data centers in NC

Facebook will open two new data storage centers in western North Carolina. In a few months, Facebook will build the facilities next to those already in Rutherford County.   Facebook says it wants the new facilities to be greener, faster, and more efficient than anywhere else. The data centers store users' photos behind walls of tough security.
